The Staff

Linda Blades and Louisa (Binki) De Collibus have been the primary teachers since the school’s beginnings in 1982.

Linda Blades is the Directress and teaches daily. She is certified by the American Montessori Society and holds an A.B. in Elementary and Special Education. She has worked in both public school and Montessori settings for many years. She was a teacher trainer at The New England Montessori Teacher Education Center for many years. She is also the mother of two.

Binki De Collibus coteaches with Linda daily. She has attended an American Montessori Society Assistants Workshop and courses in early childhood education. Growing up in Japan, she brings her love for cultural studies to the classroom. She is the mother of one child and has worked in a Montessori setting for many years.

Jenny Bluhm teaches music. She has been teaching music in this area for more than 15 years. She is trained in Montessori, Kodaly, and Musikgarten and is the parent of three Montessori Children’s House graduates.
